Like Wicket this figure has a much more animated look than the first toy. This line is actually relatively easy to find MOC but very difficult to find loose and complete.

Wicket W. Warrick

Date Stamp:

Release Date:
1985
Carded Availability:
  • Ewoks
Assortment No.:
71250
Retail:
2.99
Weapons and Accessories:

  • Spear

Force fact:

The final Star Wars toy line was also based on a Saturday morning cartoon. While I am loathe to admit it I like this line. I have not seen this cartoon either but I really like the artwork on the Ewoks cards.

That shamefully said first up is a new sculpt of the main ewok, Wicket. This figure has a much more animated look than the first toy, almost like the preschool toys that were out at the same time but this is an action figure with accessories and articulation. Like all of the final lines the Ewoks have matching coins that are a orange rust color.

ATL Interceptor

Date Stamp:
1985
Release Date:
1985
Boxed Availability:
  • Droids
Assortment No.:
69770
Retail:
8.99
Weapons and Accessories:

  • When rear button is activated wings automatically fall and side laser cannons pop out
  • Opening cockpit holds pilot

Force fact:

The last of the Kenner Star Wars vehicles comes to odd looking ATL Interceptor. It always looked to me like it was missing the back of the ship or was a escape pod or something. The package on this shows Thall Joben, a B-Wing Pilot and Stormtroopers with the ship so who knows who it belongs to.

1985

  • Rotate Side Gunner to dodge enemy fire
  • Opening cockpit and rotating Side Gunner
  • Side Gunner detaches for solo raids.

Force fact:

As I have not seen the Droids cartoons I am unsure of the purpose or side for this vehicle. However given that JCPenney calls it the Imperial Side Gunner and the box shows an Imperial Gunner and Stormtrooper flying the vehicle I assume that it is indeed an Imperial Side Gunner. If that is not the case someone please send over the correct information.
